Lokāh (ലോകഃ): Modern Fusion Music Band of BMA
Lokāh (ലോകഃ) is the official modern fusion band under the Bristol Malayali Association (BMA). Designed to bridge traditional Kerala cultural roots with contemporary music energy, the band brings together dynamic stage performances that unite both younger and older generations.
- Musical Style: High-energy fusion combining traditional Kerala rhythms (such as Chenda Melam percussion) with modern rock, synth bass, and EDM beats.
- Visual Identity: Represented by an emblem featuring a royal-blue starburst background, polished gold rim, glowing musical staff, Malayalam typography, and silhouettes of traditional Kerala musicians on a Vallam (snake boat).
- Live Debut: Launched as a featured act at Bristonam 2026, delivering electrifying live tracks and high-voltage performance sets.
